What do you suppose it is that makes these online weblogs so popular? What is this need to express one's self or to publicly put forth one's identity? I was talking to James today about the addictions one can develop reading blogs. Some sort of weird voyeuristic habit... peeking into other people's lives and thoughts. You get to know them (sort of) through their published / embellished thoughts and anecdotes and then *bang* maybe you run into them in a bar. What then?

My real anxiety isn't that I'm going to turn into some internet empowered peeping tom, but that I have nothing interesting to say. Is my life worth peeping? Even for my peeps? Bro's, ho's and forty'o's. That's livin'.

Listen to this (epic as hell: 8 mins, 8mb).

Yet another site redesign. This time motivated partially by boredom and partially by the fact that the owner of the Local Bar (Rocky) has decided to promote our party in the next issue of 'The Onion'. And in case you haven't heard of the party, check out the invite. I guess I'll 'officially' migrate the site to 2.0 when I get the time (I actually deliberated on whether to say 'the time' or 'some time'... I don't know why).
