Dear Ms. Frisinger:

Come on...your bias is showing! "SUV" strikes boy... Would he be any less hurt if he were to have been hit by a Mini-Cooper going 45 miles per hour? I think not.

I do not drive a SUV, but I am tired of people in the media bashing those who do. Next time, just report the story. Leave the political statement for discussions over a beer with your colleagues.

Sincerely,

Mr. Harvey,

I don't know if you're referring to the headline or the article itself. I report information the police give me, but I don't write headlines. Politics aren't involved here. Basic physics are, though: force = mass x acceleration.

Thanks for your input.

Sincerely,
Kerrie Frisinger
The name has been changed, but the correspondence remains hilariously accurate and true.
